As of October 1, 2022, the following is required to cross the border: Travelers must be fully vaccinated to cross the border from Canada into the U.S., and MDS volunteers do not meet the requirements for exemption as essential workers. Travelers do not have to be vaccinated to cross the border from the U.S. into Canada. No COVID-19 testing is required to cross the border. Contact the Volunteer Coordinator in your country with questions about crossing the border to serve with MDS. Sign up for volunteer opportunities in Canada.

1.) Choose a week or weeks you'd like to volunteer
2.) Log in or create an account: If you have served with MDS before and do not know your username and password, follow the prompts to recover your password.
3.) Volunteer as an Individual or as a Group
4.) Wait for confirmation from MDS
